Starting date: September 2024

Prospero Teaching is working with a medium sized, mixed Primary school in Birmingham, UK. They are seeking a Primary teacher to join the team in September 2024. The Primary school is located 30 minutes from downtown Birmingham using public transport, has a relatively low cost of living and property rental prices are very reasonable. Whether you like a quieter life or if you want to access the hustle and bustle of Birmingham, this is a great place to live.

The successful candidate will:

1. Have experience of raising attainment in a challenging classroom environment
2. Have a genuine belief in the potential of every child

4. Have a flexible ‘can do’ attitude

6. Encourage students to reach their full potential
7. Be patient and have a good sense of humour

Qualifications:

1. Have a Bachelor of Education or equivalent, with good standing
2. You hold the right to work and teach in the UK (UK Passport, Ancestry Visa, Spousal Visa or Youth Mobility Visa)
3. Be eligible for QTS
4. Have up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (Prospero offers accredited CPD training)
5. Successfully undergo RCMP certified criminal record checks
6. Provide at least two professional teaching references covering the last two years
