About the Role:

As a long-term supply Primary Teacher with Aspire People, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of schools across Northampton. This is a fantastic role for a teacher who enjoys the flexibility and challenge of supply work but is looking for the stability and responsibility of a long-term position. You'll be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, supporting students' academic and personal growth, and helping them thrive in a positive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Provide engaging and creative learning experiences for all students.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, fostering a positive and respectful learning environment.
  • Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners, including those with SEN or additional learning needs.
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Collaborate with other teaching staff and school leaders to ensure the success of each child's learning journey.
  • Maintain a nurturing and inclusive classroom atmosphere where students feel safe and motivated.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all abilities.
  • Passion for inspiring and motivating young learners to achieve their best.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and a proactive attitude, able to adapt to different school environments and student needs.
