Job summary

Premier Education is recruiting a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Salford on a full-time contract.

The successful candidate will hold QTS, have experience teaching in a UK primary setting, and be confident with early reading and phonics. You will plan and deliver engaging lessons, support pupils' transition into KS1, and contribute to the wider life of the school.

Qualifications

Premier Education is working with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Salford who are looking for a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team on a full-time contract.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys working in KS1 and understands the important transition children make from EYFS into KS1. The school is looking for someone who can provide a warm, structured and engaging learning environment while maintaining high expectations for every child.

The role:

• Full-time Year 1 teaching position

• Based in a primary school in Salford

• Taking full responsibility for a KS1 class

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum

• Supporting pupils as they transition into more formal learning in KS1

• Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual needs

• Working closely with teaching assistants and other members of the KS1 team

• Building positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

• Full involvement in the wider life of the school

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS

• Has experience teaching within a UK primary school

• Ideally has experience within KS1

• Has a good understanding of early reading and phonics

• Can create a positive, nurturing and well-managed classroom
