Job Title: Primary Teacher (KS1)

Salary Range: £120 - £250 per day (Depending on experience)
Start time: Immediate
Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

Are you a passionate KS1 Primary Teacher ready to make a lasting impact in the classroom? Do you thrive in a supportive environment where every child is encouraged to shine? An exciting opportunity has opened for a dedicated Primary Teacher (Key Stage 1) to join a welcoming and well-resourced school in Nottingham.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment where all pupils feel supported and encouraged to achieve.
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupils’ academic and personal development.
  • Maintain high standards of behaviour and classroom management through clear routines and positive reinforcement.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  • Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 (KS1).
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and phonics strategies.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality education and promoting a love of learning.
  • Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
