Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for a new role this September?
GSL Education are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Key Stage 1 (KS1) Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Eastbourne. This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to a nurturing learning environment.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum. You’ll create a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages pupil participation and achievement, while working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to ensure every child thrives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching to KS1 pupils, ensuring progress and achievement for all
• Plan and assess learning in accordance with school and curriculum standards
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture where pupils feel safe, supported, and motivated
• Work closely with parents, carers, and colleagues to support student development
• Implement school policies on behaviour, assessment, and safeguarding effectively
• Participate in staff meetings, training, and school-wide initiatives

Job Requirements:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is essential
• Proven experience teaching in KS1
• A strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and teaching strategies
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Commitment to nurturing and inspiring every child’s learning journey
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
