Job summary

Long-Term Teachers Ltd is recruiting experienced KS1 Teachers to cover immediate vacancies in Plymouth and the surrounding areas, with both full-time and part-time roles paid to scale.

We work with a number of primary schools in Plymouth seeking confident KS1 Teachers to join them on a supply basis. You will help students learn through engaging lessons and a supportive team, with a strong emphasis on providing a solid learning foundation.

Qualifications

• KS1 teaching experience across primary ages.
• Ability to assess children's knowledge and progress.
• Experience planning engaging activities and differentiating lessons.
• Comfort with pre-planned lessons and adapting them as needed.
• Flexibility to cover absences across Plymouth schools.

Here at Long-Term Teachers, an Education Recruitment Agencies, we work with a number of Primary Schools in Plymouth who are currently looking for a confident KS1 Teacher to join them on a supply basis.

You will have the opportunity to work with strong and supportive staff members dedicated to providing children with building a foundation for their learning through a challenging and exciting curriculum.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Teacher, qualified or unqualified to support absences across Primary Schools. Someone who has the flexibility to work across year groups, different schools in the area and be adaptable to the schools needs.

We are looking for someone who has a high level of knowledge in the KS1 curriculum, someone who is super confident picking up pre-planned lessons and adapting them to meet the needs of the pupils when necessary.

You will be expected to:

• Have knowledge or experience with Read, Write Inc scheme for Phonics.
• Ability to assess children’s knowledge and development.
• Plan engaging and exciting activities to attract children to their learning.
• Be confident with differentiating lessons to meet the needs of all children.
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for the children.
• Ability to adapt interventions to suit the needs of SEND children’s needs.
