Academics in Canterbury are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school community. This is a fantastic opportunity to support and inspire pupils in Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, or Year 6 as they progress through their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons for KS2 pupils in line with the National Curriculum
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports academic and social development
* Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs
* Build strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupil learning and well-being
* Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership to deliver high-quality education
* Uphold the school's values and contribute to the wider school community
What We Are Looking For:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 3 to Year 6)
* A creative, adaptable, and inspiring teaching approach
* Strong understanding of the KS1 to KS2 transition
* Up-to-date knowledge of safeguarding practices and a commitment to children's welfare
* Excellent communication skills and classroom management
* Right to work in the UK
