Primary Teacher (KS1)

Location: Hull

Status: ASAP / September 2024

GSL Education is seeking a dynamic and proactive Primary Teacher for KS1 to work in schools in Hull.

Job Summary:

As a Primary Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in nurturing the academic and personal growth of students. You will provide additional help to students who are struggling and challenge those who are excelling, ensuring all students feel valued and included, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver creative and engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Assess and track student progress, providing feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and enhance teaching strategies.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the wider school community.
  • Establish a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes respect, collaboration, and active participation.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support ongoing development.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be currently enrolled in a primary teacher training program.
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Have a passion for teaching and inspiring young minds.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Be able to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
