Primary SEN Teacher - SEMH School Tooting, Southwest London

Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated Primary SEN Teacher to join a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Tooting, Southwest London. This is a full-time role delivering a range of core subjects to small groups of primary-aged pupils with additional needs.



Job Details

  • Role: Primary SEN Teacher (must be confident teaching across KS1 and KS2)
  • Start Date: September 2025 (Immediate trials/interviews available)
  • Contract Type: Long-term with the potential to become permanent
  • Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Location: Tooting, Southwest London
  • Pay: Paid according to your teaching scale
  • Parking: On-site parking available


About the School

This is a nurturing and inclusive SEMH school for boys aged 5-19, supporting pupils with complex social, emotional, and mental health needs. The school offers a highly structured and therapeutic learning environment, with personalised learning plans that meet each child's individual needs.



What We're Looking For

Essential Requirements

  • QTS (or an equivalent UK teaching qualification)
  • Experience working in SEN, SEMH, PRUs, or alternative provisions
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Child & Adult Workforce)
  • Two recent and relevant professional references
