Primary Teacher Key Stage 2
Lambeth, SW4
Full-Time Long Term Role
Pay rate: 160 - 210 per day
Start: September 2025

A welcoming and well-led primary school in Lambeth (SW4) is seeking a qualified and dedicated Key Stage 2 Teacher to join their team from September 2025. Rated 'Good' by Ofsted, the school is proud of its inclusive culture, strong leadership, and commitment to staff development. The successful candidate will be joining a supportive staff team and a positive working environment where children are at the heart of everything they do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated lessons in line with the national curriculum for KS2
  • Use assessment data effectively to inform teaching, identify gaps in learning, and provide targeted support
  • Foster a classroom environment where all pupils feel safe, motivated, and inspired to achieve their potential
  • Establish and maintain high expectations for learning and behaviour through consistent routines and clear boundaries
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure inclusive provision for pupils with SEN or EAL needs
  • Develop strong relationships with parents and carers through regular communication and participation in school events
  • Take part in school-wide initiatives, including planning meetings, INSET days, and CPD sessions, contributing to the wider school community
  • Ensure children's progress is tracked, recorded, and reported effectively using school systems and frameworks

Candidate Criteria

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Essential
  • Recent teaching experience in Key Stage 2, ideally within a UK classroom setting
  • A deep understanding of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a passion for pupil development
  • Ability to commit to the full academic year and be a consistent presence for pupils
