Salary: £33,000 £45,000 (dependent on experience)

This is a key role in the school's Upper Key Stage 2 team and would suit a confident teacher who is passionate about preparing pupils for a successful transition to secondary school.
The RoleAs the Year 6 Teacher, you will:
Deliver an engaging and challenging curriculum, with a strong focus on SATs preparation and independent learning
Support pupils' academic progress and personal development through effective planning, teaching, and assessment
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters high expectations and motivation
Provide targeted support to close learning gaps and build confidence
Communicate regularly with parents, carers, and the wider school team
Contribute to the life of the school through clubs, trips, and enrichment activities
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally with Year 6 or Upper KS2 pupils
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and Year 6 assessment frameworks (including SATs)
A proactive, resilient, and reflective approach to teaching
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A genuine passion for supporting children to achieve their best
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
