The Role:
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally. You ll join a friendly, collaborative team and have the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum

• Support pupils in developing independence, resilience, and key academic skills

• Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary

• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment with clear routines and expectations

• Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards across the year group

• Maintain open and supportive communication with parents and carers

• Engage in school life through extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and CPD

What We re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable)

• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and age-appropriate teaching strategies

• Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills

• A positive, reflective approach to teaching and learning

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
