The Role:
As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that support pupils academically, socially, and emotionally. You ll join a friendly, collaborative team and have the opportunity to contribute to a vibrant school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver dynamic lessons aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Support pupils in developing independence, resilience, and key academic skills
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, adapting teaching where necessary
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment with clear routines and expectations
Work closely with colleagues to ensure consistency and high standards across the year group
Maintain open and supportive communication with parents and carers
Engage in school life through extracurricular activities, staff meetings, and CPD
What We re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (Year 4 experience desirable)
Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and age-appropriate teaching strategies
Effective classroom management and excellent communication skills
A positive, reflective approach to teaching and learning
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
