Job description

Your new schoolHays are looking for reliable and adaptable Qualified Teachers to work in Primary Schools across Cardiff. These roles are supply cover and will cover a variety of schools across Cardiff. As this role is supply, you will be able to let us know when you are available to work, and we can arrange for you to work on the days that you tell us you can!

Your new role

This role can be on a full or part-time basis, allowing you to fit this around your schedule. It is suited to those who have a passion for teaching across multiple Primary Schools. Some roles may be long-term and include full teaching responsibilities. Duties include but are not limited to:

  1. Create lesson plans.
  2. Create and maintain a safe, interactive, and engaging learning environment for pupils.
  3. Set homework or exercises for pupils to practice after classroom hours.
  4. Demonstrate tasks, assign work, and encourage discussions.
What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified teacher with a valid QTS.
  • Valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing.
  • Up-to-date EWC registration.
  • Passion for creating a safe and welcoming environment for children to succeed.
