Primary Teacher Job in Burnham-On-Sea

Your new School
Hays are working with a local primary school in the Burnham-On-Sea area to help recruit for a Year 1 & 2 Teaching job. This job will start in Term 5 and will run into 2025. You will be joining a supportive network of staff at this school and work collaboratively to push children to reach their potential.


Your new role
This job role will see you take on full teaching responsibilities for this Year 1 & 2 class, so you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons, and marking work to meet the needs and the interests of your pupils. You will need to work closely with other staff members, including teaching assistants, to ensure all children have access to the learning materials. You will be expected to immerse yourself in up-and-coming community extracurricular events and strengthen existing community relationships.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing this position, you must possess recent experience working with children. Subject leadership is desired, but not essential for this role. Applicants must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). ECT's and NQT's are also welcome to apply.
