Job Title: Supply Primary Teacher

Location : Belper, Derbyshire

Start Date: September 2025

Salary: £140 - £170 per day

TeacherActive is delighted to be working with various primary schools in Derbyshire. The schools want a part-time supply teacher who is confident, engaging and will become a part of the team. The successful applicant will have strong knowledge of the national curriculum and experience working in primary schools and supporting a diverse group of pupils.

The successful applicant will need to meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils' development. The work will be preplanned so the teacher must be able to pick up on things quickly and present lessons that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status / QTS (ECT s are also welcome)
• Experience teaching children in KS2
• Excellent ICT skills
• First Aid Qualification (preferred)
• Being able to work under pressure
• Organisational skills and engaging lesson plans
• Experience with SEND children
• Fantastic knowledge of the National Curriculum
