Job description

Prospero Teaching are looking to appoint an outstanding Primary School Teacher to work within our client Infant School in Littlehampton.


About the Role:


As a Primary School Teacher, you will:

  1. Deliver engaging and inspiring lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  2. Differentiate teaching to cater to the diverse learning needs of all pupils, ensuring progress for every child.
  3. Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages personal development and academic success.
  4. Regularly assess pupil's progress, providing constructive feedback and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
  5. Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  6. Uphold high expectations for behaviour, learning, and personal growth within the classroom.

Position: Primary School Teacher (Infant School)


Contract or Position Start Date: September 2025


Duration: Permanent


Full Time/Part-Time: Full time


Rate of Pay: From £162.31 per day


Hours: 08:00am - 16:00pm (hours may vary)


Essential & Desirable Qualifications:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (Essential)
  2. Experience of working within a similar role (Desirable)
  3. Evidence of, and commitment to, continuing professional development (Desirable)
  4. A relevant degree or higher degree qualification (Desirable)

To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must:

  1. Hold right to work in the UK
  2. Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  3. Provide references upon request
  4. Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
