Primary Teacher – Complex Needs – Birmingham

Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a difference? A welcoming primary special school in Birmingham is seeking a committed Teacher to join their team, supporting pupils with complex learning needs in small, well-resourced classes.

As a Teacher in this setting, you will deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet the needs of pupils with a range of complex learning needs, including Autism, communication difficulties, and additional physical or sensory needs. With class sizes of no more than 8 pupils and the support of experienced teaching assistants, you will have the opportunity to provide highly personalised learning experiences in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering creative, individualised lessons to meet pupils’ learning and developmental needs.
  • Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and specialist staff to support progress.
  • Creating a safe and structured classroom that promotes confidence, communication, and independence.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils, families, and external professionals.
  • Supporting the social, emotional, and personal development of pupils alongside academic learning.
Qualifications
