Job Duties:

The primary teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students, following the national curriculum. They will assess student progress, provide feedback to students and parents, and create a positive learning environment in the classroom.

Required Qualifications:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

Previous experience teaching primary school students is preferred

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong understanding of the national curriculum, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively, proficient in using educational technology

Preferred Qualifications:

Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE)

Working Conditions:

The primary teacher will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar and school hours. They may be required to attend staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and participate in professional development opportunities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
