Job Title: Primary Teacher based in Orpington

Job Duties:

The Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to primary school students, assessing student progress, and providing feedback to students and parents. The teacher will create a positive and inclusive learning environment, implement the school curriculum, and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.

Required Qualifications:

A valid teaching qualification recognised in the UK, such as a PGCE or QTS. Enhanced DBS check. Knowledge of current educational trends and practises.

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field.

Experience:

Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is preferred.

Knowledge and Skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners. Excellent classroom management skills. Proficiency in using educational technology.

Preferred Qualifications:

Additional training in Special Educational Needs (SEN) or experience working with children with SEN.

Working Conditions:

The Primary Teacher will work in a primary school setting, collaborating with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders. The role may involve some additional responsibilities outside of normal school hours, such as parent-teacher meetings and extracurricular activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
