Job Overview:

A School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join our vibrant learning community. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging classroom environment, delivering the curriculum, and fostering the intellectual, emotional, and social development of primary-aged children. The role requires a compassionate, enthusiastic, and innovative educator who will inspire a love of learning and support the development of each child's individual abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning & Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the curriculum to meet the learning needs of all students.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive and respectful classroom environment that encourages active participation and respectful behaviour.
  • Student Assessment: Assess and monitor student progress through various formative and summative assessments and provide feedback to students and parents.
  • Support Student Development: Foster an environment that supports the social, emotional, and academic development of each student.
  • Collaboration: Work with other staff members to create a cohesive and inclusive school culture, contributing to school events and extracurricular activities.
  • Professional Development: Participate in professional development opportunities to continually improve teaching practices and stay updated with educational trends.

Qualifications and skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Primary Education (or related field); relevant teaching certifications.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching primary-aged children is preferred, though newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
    • Ability to create engaging, interactive, and differentiated lessons.
    • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
    • Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
    • Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
