Primary Teacher

Winner Education are seeking an Early Years teacher for a primary school based in Sutton Coldfield. We are looking to appoint the successful candidate on a long-term basis and will be full time. This role is due to start after the Easter holidays to provide maternity cover. You will be working with an Outstanding rated Ofsted school. This school has a fantastic reputation for supporting their staff with career development and internal training and support.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Conduct general class teacher responsibilities
• Whole class lesson planning
• Tailor lesson planning and preparation based on individual learner requirements
• Lead and work alongside full-time TAs working with the class
• Provide regular learner assessments and progress reports
• Uphold the highest standards of safeguarding and student welfare
• Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment

The successful Primary Teacher must:

• Hold QTS status
• Have previous experience within a primary school environment, in particular EYFS/Reception
• Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Form excellent relationships with the school team and pupil parents
• Show strong resilience and patience
