Primary Teacher

Flourish Education is currently recruiting a Primary Teacher to work with an Ofsted-rated Good Primary school near Yardley to join their support staff team on a long-term basis. The school aim to help each child receive a balanced intellectual, spiritual, social, cultural, emotional and physical education.

Our client wants to appoint a dedicated Primary Teacher to work in a Year 1 class who has a good knowledge of the curriculum, can plan and deliver engaging lessons and monitor students progress. This role will involve full class teaching responsibilities including preparing tasks, planning and marking. PPA time will be given.

This Primary Teacher role is to start ASAP and will continue until the end of the academic year. It also has potential to continue to next academic year too. The position is full time.

Required Skills and Experience for this Primary Teacher role:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) ECTs (Early Career Teacher) are also encouraged to apply
• Experience in KS1
• Commitment to the role
• Excellent behaviour and classroom management skills
• Plan and deliver lessons, in an engaging and creative way to your class
• Marking and assessments
• Raise children s attainment
• Create a positive learning environment
• Effectively work alongside teaching assistants and other members of staff

Working for Flourish Education as a Primary Teacher you will receive:

• £162.31 day rate to £223.63 day rate which equates to £31,650 per annum to £43,607 per annum based on working 5 days a week for a full school year

This Primary Teacher opportunity is located near Yardley which is easily commutable from areas such as Stechford, Bordesley Green, Marston Green, Shard End, Tyseley and most areas of Birmingham and Solihull via car, bus and train. The school has an on-site car park.
