Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking a Primary Teacher for a popular mainstream primary school in DA5, Bexley. The role is a temporary contract starting September 2026, with potential extension or permanent position based on performance.

You should hold QTS and have UK EYFS/KS1/KS2 experience, plus safeguarding training within the last year. The candidate will work full-time, 8:30am–4:00pm, with duties including planning, preparation, marking and parents’ evenings.

JOB TITLE - Primary Teacher

Prospero Teaching is looking for a Teacher for a Primary school in DA5, Bexley.

The school is a popular mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

The position is open to both NQT's and experienced teachers. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• QTS or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year EYFS/KS1/KS2 teaching experience in the UK
• Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
