Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Primary Teacher to work across Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. You will deliver engaging lessons to pupils across the Foundation Phase to KS2, aligning with the Curriculum for Wales and supporting wellbeing and progress.

You will work in flexible supply roles with weekly pay, access free CPD, and receive dedicated consultant support. Opportunities include long-term and permanent roles across the region.

Qualifications

• QTS is required to teach in schools in Wales/UK.
• Experience teaching in a primary setting is essential.
• Strong classroom management skills are essential.

Primary Teacher - Carmarthenshire & Pembrokeshire

Location: Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. Salary: From £172.98 per day (PAYE). Supply, long‑term & permanent opportunities available.

The Role

As a Primary Teacher, you'll inspire and support pupils across the Foundation Phase, KS1 or KS2, helping children learn, develop and achieve their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils' learning, progress and wellbeing.
• Adapting lessons to meet individual learning needs, including pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
• Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
• Maintaining high standards of classroom management and pupil engagement.
