Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking Primary Teachers for Carmarthenshire across Carmarthen, Llanelli, Ammanford, Llandeilo, Kidwelly and surrounding areas. Roles include day-to-day supply, long-term placements and permanent opportunities with a daily rate of £172.98.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience teaching within a primary school.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment.
• Supporting pupils across the Foundation Phase, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
• Assessing progress and adapting teaching to meet individual learning needs, including ALN.
• Managing behaviour positively and effectively.
• Building strong relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents.

Your role

As a Primary Teacher, you'll have the opportunity to inspire young learners while working in supportive schools that value high-quality teaching.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the Curriculum for Wales

We're looking for teachers who have

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within a primary school (NQTs are welcome to apply)
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• A positive, flexible and reliable approach
• A genuine passion for helping children achieve their full potential
