Job Title: Primary School Teacher
Location: Plymouth, Devon
Position: Full-Time

About the Role: Axcis Education are looking for passionate and energetic Primary School Teachers to join a dynamic team at a well-established school in the heart of Plymouth, Devon. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to children in a primary setting, fostering their intellectual and social development, and preparing them for their next stage of education.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to the needs of all pupils.
  2. Assimilate the school's curriculum framework and adapt it to the needs and interests of the pupils.
  3. Utilise a variety of teaching methods to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  4. Assess and record pupil progress and use this to inform future teaching.
  5. Create a positive learning environment that encourages pupils to be engaged in their learning.
  6. Establish and maintain a good standard of discipline through well-focused teaching and through positive and productive relationships.
  7. Work in partnership with parents and guardians to support the learning of the children.
  8. Participate in school events, activities, and staff meetings as required.
  9. Continuously engage in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and personal growth.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) for Primary Education.
  2. Proven experience as a primary school teacher.
  3. Excellent understanding of the British National Curriculum and current educational strategies.
  4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  5. Able to manage a classroom effectively and maintain discipline.
  6. Innovative and creative teaching techniques.
  7. Proficient in the use of ICT tools for instruction and administration.
  8. Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and school objectives.
