Qualifications

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Primary Teacher, you will deliver engaging, tailored educational programs to ensure positive outcomes for our pupils. You will lead and coordinate flexible, person-centered curricula for individuals and groups, demonstrating a practical, hands-on approach and a commitment to going above and beyond for our young people.

Key duties include:

  • Teaching a variety of subjects
  • Planning, preparing, and assessing lessons while staying updated on curriculum developments
  • Writing and implementing individual education plans, assessing attainment, and setting achievable targets
  • Building relationships to encourage pupils’ interest and participation
  • Creating stimulating and purposeful learning environments outside the formal classroom
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching a range of primary subjects at a good or outstanding level
  • Knowledge of current educational practices and curriculum issues
  • Experience working within an SEN setting supporting pupils with challenging behaviors (SEMH/EBD)
