Monday to Friday (Term Time Only)/ 8:30am - 3:30pm

Temporary to Permanent

Are you a primary teacher looking for long term work within schools? Do you have experience working with Key Stage 1 or 2?

Look no further - we have the ideal role for you!

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a primary teacher to work within a school in Leicester, LE3 working with a Year 2 class. This role includes working with children who have additional needs, you will also be assisted with qualified/experienced teaching assistants.

The role includes:

  • Planning lessons against the National Curriculum and differentiated the work to children.
  • General Group support and using sports as an enrichment activity
  • Working alongside teaching assistants to help provide the best learning environment
  • Encourage learning and concertation in lessons
  • Leading sports classes indoors and outdoors
  • Acting as a positive role model, energetic and always willing to support.

The ideal candidates will have:

  • Experienced in working with young children in a mainstream school.
  • Experienced working with Challenging Behaviour, Autism, ADHD and Social and Emotional Mental Health
  • Must have a good understanding of the curriculum
  • Must be able to work full time – 5 days a week.

Requirements:

  • Enhanced DBS Child and Adult Check – Must be on the update service. (We can assist you with a DBS if you do not have one)
  • 2x References are a must in order to clear your file with GSL.
