An excellent school in Halifax is looking for a Primary Teacher to join their KS2 team as a year 4 Teacher. This is a full-time teaching role to start in September for the full academic year.

Key responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:

  • To plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the national curriculum
  • To differentiate for all needs within the classroom
  • To manage classroom behaviour appropriately and effectively. Following school policies and promoting a safe and happy learning environment
  • To direct support staff ensuring all children are supported effectively
  • To build strong professional relationships with parents, allowing for open communication and regular updates

Personal specification of a Primary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • A genuine passion for teaching
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
