Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm

Teach and support KS1-KS2 pupils with SEMH needs in a therapeutic, specialist primary setting.

About the school:
A specialist secondary school in Hillingdon supporting students aged 11 to 19 with social, emotional and mental health needs. A primary provision has been introduced to support younger pupils requiring early intervention and tailored support. All students have an EHCP and benefit from a safe, inclusive environment with a curriculum designed to build confidence, resilience, and positive learning habits.

About the role:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate SEN Primary Teacher to support young learners with complex SEMH needs. You will plan and deliver structured, differentiated lessons that promote engagement, emotional well-being, and academic progress.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:

• Create a nurturing and structured learning environment
• Develop and deliver creative, targeted lessons across the primary curriculum
• Encourage social and emotional development through consistent behaviour strategies
• Work collaboratively with therapists, support staff, and families
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture

Requirements -

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)
• Experience teaching primary pupils with SEMH or SEND
• Excellent behaviour management and emotional support strategies
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection
• A calm, resilient, and adaptable teaching style
