Job description

At Teaching Personnel, we are partnering with a school in Heywood that is actively searching for a passionate and dedicated Year 5 Teacher. This school is building an inclusive and effective learning community where staff work together to inspire and support one another. The successful candidate will be offered a full-time position (8:30 am - 3:30 pm), starting after Easter.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5 students
2. Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback
3. Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
4. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall teaching experience
5. Take part in professional development to improve teaching practices

Knowledge and Skills:

1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Ability to differentiate instruction to cater to diverse student needs
3. Strong understanding of current educational trends and best practices
4. Proficiency in using technology to support learning

Required Qualifications:

1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
2. Experience working with Year 5 or early career students
3. Strong classroom management skills
