Salary: M1-M6 (Dependent on Experience)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Age group: KS1/ KS2

They also have another class teaching opening in KS2.

Position: Class Teacher

This primary school are seeking a creative and enthusiastic primary trained class teacher/ Year 2 Teacher to join their dynamic team and inspire our young learners to achieve their full potential. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our students and contribute to their educational journey in a supportive and collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that meet the needs of Year 2 students, fostering a love of learning and promoting academic progress

Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued, respected, and motivated to succeed

Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to enable each child to reach their full potential

Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement a broad and balanced curriculum that meets the requirements of the national curriculum

Build positive relationships with students, parents, and carers, fostering open communication and partnership working

Participate in the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities, events, and initiatives

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, particularly Year 2 (desirable but not essential)

Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching strategies for primary education

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues

A passion for education and a commitment to providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all students
