KS2 Teacher

Location: Gravesend, Kent

Salary: M1 to UPS3

Contract: Long Term, Full Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic and adaptable KS2 Teacher; You'll be guiding students aged 7-11 through the wonders of the National Curriculum. It's a role that requires creativity, patience, and a knack for making learning exciting. You'll also be a key player in preparing students for their SATs, fostering their confidence and skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute lessons in core subjects while assessing and tracking student progress through observations, assignments and tests
  • Communicate effectively with parents/carers regarding student progress and needs.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of students.

Skills and experience required:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Hold a current DBS or are willing to apply for a DBS.
  • Strong understanding of child development and effective teaching methods.
  • Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Creativity, patience, and enthusiasm for working with young children.
