Job summary

Operam Limited is partnering with a warm, inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets to recruit a dedicated Class Teacher for a Year 6 class from September. This is a full-time position starting in September with the potential to become permanent.

You should have strong KS2 experience and background in SEN, a patient and engaging manner, and solid teamwork and safeguarding commitment. DBS checks will be enhanced, and original qualifications will be checked before placement.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching KS2 classes.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEN.
• QTS or equivalent required; enhanced DBS during placement.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with learning in class, in small groups, and on a one-to-one basis.
• Work closely with pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), helping them access learning and follow individual support plans.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons, maintaining a positive learning environment and effective behaviour management.
• Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to support their learning and development.

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:15pm

Pay: £206 - £268 per day

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience in KS2 and supporting children with SEN, who can make a positive impact on the pupil's learning and development.
