Vision for Education, a Welsh government-approved agency based in Cardiff, is seeking passionate and qualified Primary Teachers to work in a cluster of supportive and well-regarded primary schools across Cwmbran. These roles are available from May 2025 and include both short-term and long-term supply opportunities across Foundation Phase and Key Stage 2.

The Primary Teacher role involves:

Delivering high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum

Planning and marking where required in longer-term placements

Supporting pupils of all abilities to make progress

Maintaining effective behaviour management within the classroom

Working with teaching assistants and other staff to provide consistent support

Contributing to school life where possible, supporting a positive and inclusive atmosphere

We’re looking for a Primary Teacher who:

Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in the UK

Can be available full-time or part-time depending on their preference

Has access to transport – preferred but not essential

Is confident in teaching across Foundation Phase or KS2

Has strong classroom management and a positive, proactive approach

Is registered or willing to register with the EWC (support provided if needed)

Has an enhanced DBS on the Update Service or is willing to apply (we can help)
