Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher to join our team. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) or a more experienced educator, with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR) available for the right candidate. The successful applicant will be part of a supportive and collaborative environment, committed to creating and maintaining a thriving learning atmosphere.

Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse abilities and aptitudes of pupils.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Assess, record, and report on pupils' development, progress, and attainment.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a dynamic and inspiring learning environment that promotes positive behavior and engagement.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to the wider life of the school community.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Possess an undergraduate degree relevant to primary education.
  • Have successful experience teaching the primary curriculum.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of current theories and best practices in teaching and learning, particularly related to achieving high rates of progress for primary-aged children.
  • Exhibit strong subject knowledge of the core National Curriculum.
  • Understand child development and progression and how these impact planning.
  • Be skilled in effective strategies for managing classroom behavior in line with school policies.
  • Have an understanding of equal opportunity issues and how they can be addressed in schools.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
