Job summary

Flourish Education is recruiting Early Career Teachers (ECTs) to join our growing team, delivering engaging lessons across primary settings in Bridgnorth and surrounding areas. We provide day-to-day supply, short-term placements, and long-term opportunities tailored to your career goals.

As an ECT with Flourish Education you will work with school staff to support pupils, maintain high behavioural standards, and develop confidence through varied experiences in EYFS, KS1, and KS2.

Qualifications

• QTS or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• Positive and professional approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons in line with each school's curriculum and teaching strategies.
• Work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure pupils are supported.
• Provide constructive feedback in line with school policies.
• Communicate effectively with staff, parents, and pupils.
• Promote high standards of behaviour and learning within the classroom.

If you're unsure whether you're ready for a full-class planning role or would prefer to gain experience across different schools before beginning your induction, we're here to support you. We can help you build confidence in the classroom while securing your first teaching position.

As an Early Career Teacher (ECT) working with Flourish Education, your responsibilities will include delivering engaging lessons in line with each school's curriculum and teaching strategies, working closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure all pupils are supported, providing constructive feedback in line with school policies, communicating effectively with staff, parents, and pupils, and promoting high standards of behaviour and learning within the classroom.

We offer opportunities across Early Years (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2), giving you the chance to gain valuable experience in a range of school settings.

To apply for this Early Career Teacher (ECT) role, you will need:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or be an Early Career Teacher (ECT).
• Experience teaching within EYFS, KS1, or KS2.
• Strong behaviour and classroom management skills.
• A positive and professional approach to teaching.
• Commitment, flexibility, and reliability.
• A recent and relevant school reference from a previous employer or school placement.
