Job description

Job Title: Primary Teacher
Location: Bolton, BL5
Start Date: After Easter
Pay Range: £130 to £190 per day (depending on experience)
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Contract Type: Full-time, Long-term

Reeson Education is currently recruiting a committed and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the BL5 area of Bolton. This Primary Teacher role is to start after Easter and will involve teaching a delightful Year 2 class on a full-time, long-term basis. For the right Primary Teacher, there is potential for this position to become permanent.

About the Primary Teacher Role:
  1. The Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons to a Year 2 class.
  2. The Primary Teacher will help pupils meet their academic, emotional, and social development milestones.
  3. The Primary Teacher will work closely with teaching assistants and the wider staff team to ensure inclusive, effective teaching.
  4. The Primary Teacher will monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting learning as needed to meet individual needs.
  5. The Primary Teacher will be involved in all aspects of school life, including meetings, parent communication, and collaborative planning.
The Ideal Primary Teacher Will:
  1. Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
  2. Be an experienced or ECT Primary Teacher with recent UK classroom experience.
  3. Have strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and assessment procedures.
  4. Be a Primary Teacher who is passionate, positive, and committed to making a difference.
  5. Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and classroom organisation skills.
  6. Be a Primary Teacher with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Primary Teacher Requirements:
  1. Valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply).
  2. Two professional references covering the last three years.
  3. Right to work in the UK.
  4. A strong commitment to being a reliable, engaging, and reflective Primary Teacher.
