Primary Teacher - Year 5/6 | Location: Rubery, Birmingham, B45 | Daily Rate: £160 to £240 | Start Date: ASAP | End Date: 19/12/2025 (First Term Cover) | Days: Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) | Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Long Term Futures is partnering with a welcoming two-form entry primary school in Rubery, Birmingham, seeking a Year 5/6 Teacher for the first term. This full-time position requires a teacher with strong behaviour management skills to support an upper KS2 class effectively.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons for Year 5/6 pupils.
  • Assess, monitor, record, and report on pupil progress.
  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively, implementing consistent strategies.
  • Work alongside a teaching assistant to provide targeted support.
  • Lead parent evenings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Differentiate planning to meet a range of needs, including SEN pupils.
