Primary Teacher – SEND – Complex Needs – Primary
Are you a passionate Primary Teacher with a desire to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex learning needs? A welcoming and well-resourced SEND school in Birmingham is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher to join their team, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2 who require specialist teaching, care and support. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Primary Teacher who thrives in a nurturing environment and is committed to inclusive and personalised education.

As a Primary Teacher in this specialist setting, you will deliver creative and tailored lessons to small groups of children with a range of complex needs, including Autism, communication difficulties, and physical or medical needs. You will work closely with a team of experienced Teaching Assistants, therapists, and the wider SEN team to ensure each child has the support and structure they need to thrive. The successful Primary Teacher will be patient, flexible, and driven to provide the highest standard of teaching and care.

Job Role:
  • Teaching a small class of primary-aged pupils with complex learning needs
  • Creating and delivering differentiated and engaging lesson plans
  • Working closely with a team of Teaching Assistants and support staff
  • Monitoring progress and maintaining accurate records
  • Collaborating with parents, carers, and external professionals
