Long-term Teachers are supporting a Primary School in Axminster. The school is looking to employ a part-time Teacher for the remainder of this term and into the New Year.

The Role

This large school is offering a part-time opportunity to start ASAP. You will work as a Year 2 Class Teacher three days a week, with some flexibility on the days.

They seek a candidate with experience and knowledge of the KS1 curriculum. The ideal candidate is hard-working, keen to help students thrive, and able to work collaboratively with other Class Teachers to deliver outstanding lessons.

You will be expected to:

• Differentiate and adapt lessons to meet all children's needs.
• Assess children’s development and communicate clearly with your partner teacher.
• Collaborate with other KS1 Class Teachers for planning and assessment.
• Work closely with the Teaching Assistant to support SEND children.
• Build positive relationships with staff, pupils, and parents.
