Job summary

Outcomes First Group's Heath Farm School in Ashford, Kent, is seeking a passionate Primary Teacher to deliver engaging, personalised learning in a nurturing environment where relationships come first and every pupil can flourish.

You will plan creative lessons across the primary curriculum, use varied assessment strategies, and work with families and professionals to support learners with diverse needs. The role is fixed term to March 2027, 35 hours weekly, start August 2026, with term-time only.

Qualifications

  • QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Passion for helping children with complex needs and diverse learning styles.
  • Creative, flexible and adaptable approach to teaching.
  • Positive, resilient and collaborative attitude.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and delivering outstanding outcomes.
  • Driving licence required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the primary curriculum meeting individual needs.
  • Create a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where pupils feel valued.
  • Use diverse assessment strategies to monitor progress and adapt teaching to maximise outcomes.
  • Promote positive behaviour through trauma-informed and restorative approaches.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, families and external professionals to provide blanket support for pupils.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and school improvement initiatives.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.

Job Title: Primary Teacher

Location: Heath Farm School, Ashford, Kent, TN27 0AX

Hours: 35 hours per week | Monday to Friday | 8.30am - 4.30pm

Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

Contract: Fixed Term- till March 2027 | Term Time Only

Start: August 2026

  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils, ensuring their wellbeing remains at the heart of everything you do.
