Primary Supply Teachers Needed in Sussex

HAYS Education is seeking Primary Supply Teachers to work in schools across Sussex and surrounding areas. Based in Sussex for over 20 years, we offer high-quality supply teaching services, assisting schools with both day-to-day cover and long-term vacancies.

We welcome teachers of all experience levels—whether you’re an NQT/ECT or an experienced teacher, full-time or part-time. Whether you're seeking day-to-day work to gain experience, flexible hours, or a more permanent position, we can help find the right fit for you.

Current Registration Process

We are conducting video registrations during this challenging period. To be considered for a position, you should:

1. Have QTS or be an NQT/ECT with experience working as a teacher.
2. Be experienced in working with smaller nurture groups to boost attainment.
3. Have a genuine desire to be part of a committed team of school staff.
4. Be available for work from 1 day per week to full-time, depending on your preference.
