Primary Supply Teacher in Shepton Mallet

Your new company
Are you a passionate and dedicated Primary Teacher looking for flexible work in a supportive school environment? Hays are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across primary schools in Shepton Mallet and the surrounding areas.

Location: Shepton Mallet, Somerset
Job Type: Supply/Temporary
Salary: £110 - £130 Per Day
Start Date: Immediate / As soon as possible

Your new role

  1. Deliver high-quality teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
  2. Follow lesson plans and maintain continuity in pupils' learning.
  3. Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment.
  4. Adapt to different schools and classroom settings.
  5. Manage behaviour effectively and support student well-being.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  2. Experience teaching in Primary Schools (EYFS, KS1, or KS2).
  3. Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  4. Flexibility, reliability, and enthusiasm for teaching.
  5. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
  6. Right to work in the UK.
  7. 2 recent references.
