The role

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you’ll help create a positive, engaging classroom where pupils feel supported, motivated and ready to learn.

Depending on the placement, your responsibilities may include:

• Delivering engaging lessons in line with the school’s planning and curriculum.
• Teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your experience and the assignment.
• Creating a positive, inclusive and well‑managed classroom.
• Adapting learning activities to meet pupils’ different abilities and needs.
• Encouraging positive behaviour, participation and progress.
• Working collaboratively with school staff to maintain continuity of learning.
• Following school policies and safeguarding procedures.

What we’re looking for

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Recent experience teaching in a UK primary school.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• The ability to engage pupils and deliver effective learning experiences.
• A flexible, professional and enthusiastic approach.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare.
