Job summary

Teacher Supply Cover is a small, independent agency. We've been supplying primary schools along the Hereford to Brecon corridor for eight years, and demand this year is higher than ever.

We're looking for primary teachers who want day-to-day, short-term or longer-term work in Hereford, the Golden Valley, Hay-on-Wye, Talgarth, Brecon and the villages in between. What you'll need: QTS (ECTs very welcome); EWC registration for Powys schools (we can help you); enhanced DBS arranged; good classroom

Qualifications

• EWC registration for work in Powys schools. We can help you with this if you're new to teaching in Wales
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check, which we arrange for you
• Good classroom management and a flexible, reliable approach

Responsibilities

• Supply work across day-to-day and pre-booked blocks in primary schools
• Choose days you're available and how far you travel
• Becomes a familiar face in small village schools

Teacher Supply Cover is a small, independent agency. We've been supplying primary schools along the Hereford to Brecon corridor for eight years, and demand this year is higher than ever. We're looking for primary teachers who want day-to-day, short-term or longer-term work in Hereford, the Golden Valley, Hay-on-Wye, Talgarth, Brecon and the villages in between.

What the work looks like

• Day-to-day and pre-booked supply across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Longer-term blocks covering absence and maternity leave
• You choose which days you're available and how far you're willing to travel
• Lots of our work is in small village schools where you'll quickly become a familiar face

What you'll need

• QTS (ECTs very welcome)
• EWC registration for work in Powys schools. We can help you with this if you're new to teaching in Wales
• Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS check, which we arrange for you
• Good classroom management and a flexible, reliable approach

What you get from us

• £175–£245 per day depending on experience and role

• Honest communication about bookings, schools and pay
• We arrange your enhanced DBS and help with EWC registration
