Job description

Primary Supply TeacherLocation: Whittlesey Salary: £140 - £160 per day

Randstad is looking for passionate and adaptable individuals to join our team as Supply Teachers in Whittlesey and the surrounding areas. As a Supply Teacher, you'll play a vital role in ensuring that students' learning continues smoothly across a range of classrooms. Whether it's for a single day or an extended period, your contributions will keep the educational process uninterrupted. You'll follow prepared lesson plans and maintain a positive, engaging environment for students, adjusting to different classroom settings and student needs as you go.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons based on the provided lesson plans.
  • Maintain effective classroom management to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide feedback on students' progress to the permanent class teacher.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with students and staff, contributing to a collaborative atmosphere.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required.
  • Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2) curricula.
  • Excellent classroom management skills and strong communication abilities.
  • Flexibility to work in different school settings.
  • Enhanced DBS check (we can assist if you don't have one yet) and eligibility to work in the UK.
