Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment are currently recruiting for Primary Supply Teachers in Northampton and surrounding areas. We have flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term opportunities with starts ASAP or January 2027. Roles cover EYFS, KS1 and KS2 across a range of friendly Northampton schools.

We welcome QTS holders and ECTs, with ongoing support from a dedicated education recruitment consultant, weekly pay, and access to CPD to support your development and balance with your lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
• Experience teaching within UK primary schools.
• Confident teaching across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons using plans and resources provided by the class teacher or school.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom where pupils feel supported to learn.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning throughout the school day.
• Adapt confidently to different year groups, classrooms and school environments.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and school leaders.
• Support pupils' academic, social and emotional development.
• Leave clear feedback for the class teacher at the end of each placement.
• Follow school policies and safeguarding procedures at all times.

Your Role

• Can quickly establish positive classroom routines and manage behaviour effectively.

• Enjoy working in a variety of school settings and becoming part of different school communities.
• Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
