Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is recruiting a dedicated Teacher for a long-term post in Sunderland to support pupils with complex needs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The role involves delivering engaging lessons and working closely with school staff to support individual learning needs.

You should hold QTS (ECTs welcomed), have experience with complex needs, and strong classroom management. The school offers a supportive environment and competitive daily rates (£125-£230) paid via PAYE.

Are you confident teaching and supporting children across EYFS, Key Stage 1 / KS1 and Key Stage 2 / KS2?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a fantastic school in Sunderland with a great OFSTED rating. The setting provides a supportive learning environment for children across EYFS to KS2, including pupils with complex needs.

The school is looking to take on a Teacher on a long-term basis, teaching and supporting pupils with complex needs across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. The successful Teacher will work alongside school staff to deliver engaging learning, support individual needs and help pupils progress academically, socially and emotionally.

The successful Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching or supporting children with complex needs
• Experience working across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Strong classroom management skills
• A patient, caring and supportive approach
• A positive and adaptable attitude
