Job summary

GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Supply Teachers to work in one of our partnership primary schools in Tower Hamlets, London. This 'Good' Ofsted-rated school regularly requires ad hoc supply cover across KS1 and KS2, offering flexibility and consistent work.

As a Primary Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons, maintain positive classroom behaviour and support pupils in their learning across year groups.

Qualifications

• Hold QTS – essential for the role.
• Recent UK-based primary school teaching experience.
• Experience teaching KS1 and/or KS2 pupils.
• Flexible and available for ad hoc supply work.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across KS1/KS2.
• Follow school policies and lesson plans where provided.
• Create an engaging classroom environment.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Adapt quickly to different classrooms and routines.
• Provide feedback to teaching staff as required.
